Comic Con San Diego

Arguably the biggest summer event in San Diego is Comic-Con. This world-renowned gathering of pop-culture aficionados has been gaining in size and attendance every year. From the games, the elaborate costumes, (yes, the costumes!) activities, free stuff (swag for days!) there is no shortage of fun to be had during Comic-Con. Don’t have tickets? Don’t fret, the whole of downtown is completely transformed during Comic-Con weekend. Bars and restaurants change their names, taxis and ride-share companies provide special comic book themed cars for downtown shuttles, hundreds of zombies parade down 5th street for the annual “Zombie Parade” and of course everybody, and I mean everybody is in costume! This year’s Comic-Con is Wednesday July 20- Sunday July 24.
